Sage Clubs Leadership & Structure
The Sage Club Leadership Team meets once per term and is structured as follows


Sage Facilitators
Teacher (two for each club designated by the school head)

Sage Council
Form 4-6 students
(up to 4 students)

Sage Alumni
School graduates

Sage Patrons
Financial contributors


Sage Captains
Captains are Form 3 students. Each Captain will have a deputy. All Captains report to the Senior Captain and the Senior Captain reports to the Council. Secretaries & Communicators are Form 3-6 students. Sage Secretaries Organise Sage Club Leadership Team meetings. Each Captain will recruit up to 5 volunteers to help carry out their objectives. Activities for each Sage Captain are explained below.

Careers Captain
Focuses on programs for career guidance and preparation, helping students explore pathways and build career readiness skill development, organize after-school programs for homework and research, encourage the growth leadership, organization, and problem-solving
- Sage Career Discovery Day
- Sage Debate Series, on-campus and regional forums, activities to build confidence in expression and critical thought

Ecology Captain
Fosters environmental awareness and stewardship. Followers of the Ecology Captain are called the EcoTribe.
- Guest presentations and discussions on environment issues - Recycling competitions - First Friday clean up activities and tree planting (on-going) - Students mentor primary school students through fun, interactive sessions using short plays, role-play, and skits with a focus on deforestation & tree planting, pollution & recycling, wildlife protection, water conservation.

Sociology Captain
Focuses on creating service and civic participation, reading literacy access. - Sage Libraries, engaging with stakeholders to source computers and books (on-going) - Literacy activities, promoting a culture of reading (on-going)

Finance Captain
Focuses on managing and overseeing all financial matters within the Sage club. - Financial literacy workshops - Guest presentations and discussions
